Walmart --- Good or Bad???

I don't know if working at Walmart in the past makes me enough of an expert to write this short article about the world's largest retailer, but I'm going to try.  I'm not going to mention any names, I still know a lot of people that work for Walmart, I'll get to that in a bit.  I'm going to try to keep this as simple as possible, if I don't, I could see it getting very boring, super fast.
I get so sick of hearing people bad mouth Walmart, The nay sayers speak of Walmart coming in to communities and driving small business owners out of business. Their have been multitide's of lawsuit's brought against the retail giant, most of them having no merit.  I don't understand how Walmart get's so many publicized complaint's, but yet continue's to break sale's record's year after year.  I know why my wife and I shop at Walmart, and I'm pretty sure (could be wrong), that's it's for a lot the same reason's you and your family shop at Walmart.

1.  Lowest price's around. If you find a lower price, Walmart WILL match it.
2.  It's a cool, one stop shop. (getting ready to use the word to a lot) Eggs, to cakes, to television's, to tooth paste to oil change's, to tires to pillow's, to prescription's, to paint, to sporting goods, to fresh flower's, to the latest music, to pet food, and the list goes on.  When you go in to a Walmart, your going to find what you go in there for.
3.  Clean, well lit store's.  I bet Walmart has one heck of an electric bill every month!  I've never worked for a company that is more commited to  keeping clean location's than Walmart.
4.  Open 24 hours a day. I'm not sure if all of the Walmart's are, but it is a NICE convenience.
5.  Friendly and Knowledgable Staff.  The associate's at Walmart are continually training to keep up with all the currents law's and change's that come to retail.  This company is commited to their sales associate's on the sales floor knowing what their doing, and assisting the customer until they 100% satisfied.

Look, I could go on and on and state all the obvious reason's as to why consumer's spend a lot of their hard earned buck's at Walmart. Well, being a former associate of Walmart, I'd like to tell you a few thing's about the largest retailer on the planet that I observed while working there.  I loved, and I do mean loved, working at Walmart.  My reason's for leaving were of my own accord, but as you can tell, it was a great experience for me. If consumer's only knew what it took behind the scene's to make a Walmart work, day in and day out, it would blow your mind.  The Walmart management team where I spent most of my day's working were very professional and very respectful.  The Store Manager actually knew all of his close to 500 associate's names, I marveled at that alone.  From the Store Manager, to the newest associate hired, Walmart does every thing they can to make their location's an enjoyable place to work.
In closing, let me just say, while an associate at Walmart, I developed some very close, meaningful friendship's with some really cool people. Miss every one!!!  Love.
